Permanent Make-up – Dermopigmentation

Discover dermopigmentation, an innovative aesthetic technique that enhances your natural beauty in a subtle, long-lasting way. This non-invasive method consists of implanting pigments into the epidermis, enabling certain areas of the body or face to be colored.

What is dermopigmentation?

Dermopigmentation is commonly used for a variety of procedures, including permanent make-up, scar correction, lip and eyebrow color enhancement, and breast areola reconstruction.

What areas does dermopigmentation target?

Dermopigmentation can target various areas of the body, including the face with permanent make-up, the scalp with tricopigmentation, the breast areolas after breast reconstruction or reduction, and the body to camouflage scars.

Dermopigmentation is a technique that adds color and corrects the shape of eyebrows and lips by implanting pigments into the skin, offering a long-lasting solution for improving the appearance of these areas of the face. Moles and freckles can also be added to the face using this technique.

Our center offers an innovative solution for the scalp: tricopigmentation, an aesthetic technique that gives the illusion of greater hair density and a natural appearance.

Finally, reparative dermopigmentation can also be used to treat scars, burns and stretch marks. By applying specific pigments that harmonize with your skin, it’s possible to visually camouflage these imperfections while preserving the skin’s natural appearance.

A qualified professional should be consulted for optimum results.

What products are used for dermopigmentation?

Our pigments come from the Biotic Phocea range, the French market leader for medical dermopigmentation and permanent make-up. These quality products guarantee perfect results over the long term, while taking a respectful approach to your skin. Composed mainly of mineral pigments, with a touch of organic pigments, these products offer a risk-free composition, meeting French Reach standards. Biotic Phocea laboratories have developed unique know-how and recognized expertise in medical and aesthetic dermopigmentation.

Our dermographer, Louise Bungert, works closely with surgeons specializing in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Our commitment is to offer you exceptional results through the use of advanced techniques and superior quality pigments.

What precautions should I take after a dermopigmentation session?

The healing process after a dermopigmentation session varies from person to person and depends on several factors, including the area treated and skin type.

Over time, light scabs may form on pigmented areas. So as not to affect the quality of the final result, you must take care not to scratch or tear them off, and to respect the care recommended by our dermographer.

In most cases, the area heals within 10 days of the treatment.

How long do the results of dermopigmentation last?

The durability of dermopigmentation results depends on a number of factors, such as the area treated, the technique used and post-procedural care. Dermopigmentation generally lasts from a few months to several years. Here is an estimate of how long it will take to get results for specific areas:

  • Between 12 and 24 months, depending on the technique used, for eyebrows.
  • Approximately 2 to 5 years for an eyeliner effect
  • 6 months to 1 year for work on eyelashes.
  • Between 1 and 2 years for the lip contour.
  • Approximately 2 to 5 years for shading in the lip area.
  • Durable, long-term results for aesthetic areola reconstruction.
  • Between 2 and 5 years for the scalp.

Dermopigmentation is long-lasting but not permanent. Results are best achieved with periodic touch-up sessions.

What are the contraindications to dermopigmentation?

Common contraindications to dermopigmentation include pigment allergies, active skin infections, abnormal scarring, active skin diseases, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and certain medical treatments. It is important to consult a qualified professional to assess your eligibility for dermopigmentation. A free preliminary consultation will assess your eligibility for this technique and ensure a positive, risk-free experience.

Facial dermopigmentation

Eyebrows

Eyebrow dermopigmentation is recommended to correct the shape, add density and intensify the color of the eyebrows, particularly in cases of sparse, irregular eyebrows, loss due to medical treatments or alopecia. It also offers a convenient permanent make-up option. A consultation with our dermographer is proposed to define together the method adapted to your needs.

Micro-shading is a permanent eyebrow make-up technique that uses micro-needles to create soft shadows, simulating the appearance of eyebrow hairs for a natural, well-defined look. Microblading creates fine, precise lines, creating the illusion of hair. By filling in the gaps, your eyebrows regain a thicker appearance.

These techniques can be used to lengthen the eyebrow to restructure the brow bone and improve facial harmony.

How does a permanent eyebrow make-up session work?

Before each service, our practitioner will establish the perfect shape for your eyebrows based on your facial morphology. The use of Biotic Phocea natural mineral pigments allows you to obtain a shade perfectly adapted to the color of your eyebrows and hair. Our pigments comply with European Reach standards and the latest recommendations.

Permanent make-up techniques such as microshading, which shades the eyebrow area, and microblading, which draws the eyebrow line by line, give the most natural results. The average session lasts 1 hour.

A touch-up is required 3 weeks after the session for a final result.

In addition to the aesthetic aspect of the mole, it is also possible to use this technique to conceal an imperfection such as a stain, an old scar or a hole left by a piercing.

How does a dermopigmentation session work?

During a preliminary consultation, we’ll determine the precise number and location of the moles you want.

A quantity of pigments is meticulously deposited in the surface layer of the skin. The selected area is worked with extreme precision, millimeter by millimeter. This point-by-point dermopigmentation technique perfectly recreates the relief of the mole. We use only natural, 100% vegan pigments from BioTic Phocea, high-quality pigments designed to ensure long-lasting, consistent results. A wide range of colors is available to match your skin tone.

Tricopigmentation

Hair loss is a very common aesthetic problem for both men and women. Tricopigmentation is an innovative solution for hair restoration. This is a non-surgical procedure that involves injecting pigments into the dermis of the scalp to give the illusion of new hair.

What are the indications for tricopigmentation?

Tricopigmentation is suitable for both shaved and long hair. By depositing the pigments on the superficial layer of the dermis, it is possible to treat alopecia, thinning areas, scars left by F.U.E/F.U.T hair transplants and thus camouflage hair loss on the scalp. This procedure can therefore be carried out in addition to a transplant.

When the donor area is insufficient for a conventional hair transplant, or when it is made impossible by medical factors, tricopigmentation proves to be an effective alternative to traditional hair transplantation.

How does a tricopigmentation session work?

The tricopigmentation technique is based on the simulation of hair regrowth using specially formulated pigments. Each point is delicately applied to recreate the look and texture of natural hair, offering an illusion of density and volume. The point-by-point method offers a natural, aesthetically pleasing result, giving you a revitalized appearance.

We work in collaboration with the Biotic Phocea brand, which offers vegan pigments made 100% in France.

Depending on the areas treated, pigmentation can be spread over several sessions.

The lifespan of tricopigmentation treatment is 4 to 5 years. It may be possible to carry out occasional touch-ups one month after the first session. These touch-ups vary according to skin type.

An initial consultation will enable us to assess your needs and determine the areas to be treated, in order to draw up a personalized estimate. Prices start from €425.

There are a few contraindications, such as active skin infections, scarring problems, autoimmune diseases, skin hypersensitivity, pigment allergies, recent wounds, pregnancy, certain medical treatments… Before choosing this option, prior consultation with a professional is essential to assess suitability and minimize potential risks.

Body dermopigmentation

Scars, burns and stretch marks

For some people, scars and burns can be all too visible, and can represent a real complex. Restorative dermopigmentation is designed for people wishing to camouflage unattractive skin marks. This effective solution involves injecting pigments into the skin to even it out, blurring the line between healthy skin and the scarred area.

Stretch marks, often caused by weight changes, pregnancy or rapid growth, can be reduced or even completely faded, thanks to dermopigmentation. By inserting pigments into the areas where stretch marks are present, practitioners can soften their appearance by making them less visible. This method offers a non-invasive alternative for improving the appearance of stretch marks.

What precautions should I take after a dermopigmentation session?

It’s important to note that dermopigmentation must be carried out by qualified, experienced practitioners to achieve natural results and avoid complications.

For the first few days after the session, certain contraindications are to be expected. We recommend avoiding sun exposure, UV rays, swimming pools, steam baths and saunas, which can affect healing and pigment color. Light scabs may form on areas of the eyebrow that have been pigmented. To avoid affecting the quality of the final result, care must be taken not to scrape or tear them off.

Be patient and wait for the treated area to heal completely before evaluating the final results. Pigments may appear darker at first, then fade to the desired shade.
