The information collected as part of the contact form for making appointments must correspond to what is strictly necessary for the purpose of data processing. It is therefore important to limit the amount of information collected, but also to clearly define the purpose of the processing, as the data cannot subsequently be used by EPILIUM for another purpose. It is therefore advisable to be precise in the reference below.

It is recommended that a box be ticked by the user before the collection form is sent, with the following wording.

By submitting this form, you agree that the information you have entered may be processed and used by EPILIUM as the data controller, its internal departments responsible for making appointments and/or responding to requests, the subcontractor responsible for managing the web server, and any other legally authorized person. This data will be kept for three years from the last contact, on the understanding that you may withdraw your consent and request the deletion of your data at any time.

In application of the applicable regulations, you have the right to ask the data controller for access to your personal data, to rectify or delete it, or to limit it, to port your data and the possibility of defining directives concerning the fate of your data after your death.

2/ Information on cookies

The EPILIUM website requires several notices to be displayed in order to manage the collection of consent regarding cookies. The purpose of these disclosures is to comply with the principles laid down by the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).

2.1 On the cookie information banner

First of all, a cookie information banner must be created so that when users arrive on the home page, they are informed about cookies and EPILIUM can obtain their consent[1].

[1] Companies operating tracking systems must be able to provide, at any time, proof of valid collection of the user’s free, informed, specific and unambiguous consent.

In fact, simply continuing to browse a site can no longer be considered a valid expression of the user’s consent, who must agree to the deposit of tracers through a positive act (in particular, clicking on I accept in the cookie information banner). Thus, if the user does not take any positive action, no trace not essential to the operation of the site may be deposited.

With regard to the cookies used, the following information should be displayed on the EPILIUM website banner:

“We use cookies to ensure the proper functioning of our site, to measure our audience, to provide you with features available on social networks and to analyze traffic. To find out more, see our legal notice.
