What is the LaseMd laser peel?
Laser Lase® is a laser device designed for skin rejuvenation and correction of pigmentation problems.
It uses Thulium laser technology, which, thanks to its strong absorption by water, leads to regeneration of the skin’s superficial layers, while creating precise micro-channels to facilitate penetration of the associated serums.
Lase® offers two main approaches to use:
- Immediate “Baby Glow”: creates treatment microzones to stimulate collagen and improve skin texture, offering a baby-skin effect after the first session.
- Targeting specific problems: By combining the laser with active ingredients, it can treat specific concerns such as pigmentation spots, acne or signs of aging.
What are the indications for Lase®?
The Lase® Seriderm treatment is suitable for all ages and phototypes, and can be used in all seasons.
- Anti-ageing treatment: wrinkles, fine lines, periorbital wrinkles, décolleté and neck, heliodermia.
- Skin texture: acne scars, actinic keratosis, skin roughness, dilated pores, inflammatory acne.
- Pigmented lesions: spots, melasma, diffuse redness, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
The first consultation for your Lase® sessions
During your free initial consultation, you will discuss your aspirations with the specialist. Following an analysis of your epidermis, he will formulate a diagnosis and recommend a customized treatment regime, selecting the most appropriate protocol to meet your specific needs.
How does a Lase® session work?
Using the roller tip, the Epilium & Skin practitioner will make between 4 and 8 passes over the area to be treated. The number of treatments depends on the severity of the indication, skin reactivity and patient tolerance.
If the application of an active ingredient serum is required, the ampoule will be prepared simultaneously with the session in the Lase® integrated centrifuge. The first application takes place immediately after the laser has been passed, and is diffused deep into the dermis by the micro-channels formed by Lase®. Apply the serum at home, 2 times a day for about 10 days on healthy, fair skin.
Tingling and a sensation of heat are felt by the patient and may last for several hours after the session. Make-up should ideally be avoided for the next 48 hours.
Normal social activity can be resumed immediately after the session.
For a “Baby Glow” effect, only one session is needed, when the patient feels the need, to achieve a radiant, luminous complexion.
For therapeutic indications (with or without a complementary ampoule of serum), an average of 3 to 5 sessions is generally recommended, at 15-day intervals.
Lase® cosmeceutical supplement ampoules
Each ampoule contains active ingredients with specific properties. Your practitioner will select the bulb best suited to your needs.
- Vitamin A Rétibol (VA), stimulates collagen production, accelerating skin cell renewal and limiting the appearance of signs of aging.
- Vitamin C ascorbic acid (VC), a natural antioxidant that stimulates and strengthens collagen fibers. It prevents photoaging and reduces sun-induced skin damage.
- Tranexamic acid (TA), to correct post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and reduce resistant pigmentation spots (melasma, HPPI, diffuse couperose-type redness).
- Resveratrol (RS), a powerful oxidizing agent extracted from grapes, used for the treatment and prevention of photoaging, as well as for cleansing the dermal layers, especially for seborrheic or acne-prone skin.
