How does a HydraFacial session work?
The HydraFacial “Signature” treatment consists of 4 steps:
STEP 1 – Facial cleansing and exfoliation
On previously cleansed skin, the process begins with cleansing using a product based on lactic acid and algae extracts. This step removes impurities and superficial dead skin from your face.
STEP 2 – Light peeling
The application of a mixture of glycolic and salicylic acids will help to temporarily dilate the skin‘s pores, with the aim of loosening deep-seated impurities such as sebum, blackheads and make-up residue.
The concentration of the peel will be adapted according to the quality of the skin and the patient’s needs.
STEP 3 – Removing blackheads and blackheads
Blackheads and blackheads are removed by gentle suction, and a honey extract treatment is added to ensure long-lasting pore cleansing. Cleared of these cells, facial skin is perfectly prepared to absorb the infusion of restructuring serum.
STEP 4 – Hydration
A powerful serum of anti-oxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid is infused all over the face. It ensures optimal hydration of skin tissue, while bringing luminosity and radiance to the complexion.
The Hydrafacial – Signature treatment can be complemented by the use of a Booster in the case of more specific skin problems, which will be chosen according to the patient’s indication:
- DERMABUILDER Anti-Aging Serum concentrates peptides to stimulate collagen production and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles,
- REGEN GF Serum Specific anti-aging, a blend of growth factors and regenerative peptides, it is particularly indicated in association with more invasive procedures (mesolift, microneedling, etc.) to promote cell regeneration.
- BRITENOL hyperpigmentation serum, with Vitamin C and Alpha-arbutin, to balance skin tone by reducing brown spots and sun spots.
- NASSIF MD Serum for sensitive skin, a cocktail of nourishing ingredients to help restore the skin barrier and provide intense, long-lasting hydration.
Hydrafacial sessions last from 30 to 45 minutes.
The number of Hydrafacial treatment sessions and their frequency are determined according to the patient’s needs.
For problem skin, we recommend a monthly session to ensure long-term results.
After the session, a smoothing effect is immediately noticed. Skin is illuminated, regenerated and clean.
It is advisable to avoid using make-up and/or creams immediately after the session, and not to rinse off the serums for 4 hours afterwards.
Optimal results are generally seen 24 to 48 hours after the session.
