Be careful not to confuse laser hair removal<\/a> with pulsed light.<\/p>\n

Pulsed light has a shorter wavelength than a category IV laser machine<\/strong>, so results are less effective, especially for subjects with light and\/or fine hair. What’s more, not all phototypes can be treated with this technology. Mature to black skins can’t benefit from it, so burns are much more frequent.<\/p>\n

At this point, the practitioner will explain how the laser<\/strong> works, how the treatment is performed, and the rules to follow throughout your sessions. The specialist will examine your skin and body hair to determine whether you are eligible forlaser hair removal<\/strong>. A test will be carried out to determine the starting amplitude of the laser, so that you can be fully informed of how it will feel for future sessions.<\/p>\n

CHECK THE FEASIBILITY OF THE TREATMENT ZONE<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Some medications are photosensitizing and therefore incompatible with laser treatment<\/strong>, particularly a class of antibiotics and acne treatments.<\/p>\n

Topical treatments can be continued if they are not applied directly to the treated area.<\/p>\n

Self-tanning tablets containing beta-carotene are also forbidden, as they alter skin color and mislead the laser hair removal system<\/strong>, which will no longer be able to distinguish between the melanin in the hair and the artificial melanin in the skin generated by the dietary supplement.<\/p>\n

Throughout your sessions, be sure to moisturize your skin, to avoid further irritation. Keep up this habit even after your sessions: hair-free, your skin will be even softer!<\/p>\n
